The Stallions attacker has completed his return to Konya whilst Koffi clinches a dream move to the French top tier

Ivorian-born Burkinabe attacker Abdou Razack Traore has completed a permanent switch from Karabukspor to Konyaspor in Turkey.

Despite starting last season reasonably well with Karabuskspor, scoring six goals in his first ten appearances, the 28-year-old would fall out of favour and eventually spend the final quarter of the season in the wilderness as he was granted special leave by Blue Flame. Despite this he amassed 17 appearances and scored seven goals in the Super Lig.

But it seems the Stallions international spent his special leave period negotiating his return to Kanyospur after he announced his return to Anadolu Kartali via his Twitter page on Thursday.

“I would like to announce that I have signed with Konyaspor and I just want to say thank you to all my fans for the support,” the former Gaziantepspor forward said on Twitter.

Traore joined Karabukspor from Gaziantepspor in July 2014. The following season, 2015/2016, he joined Konyaspur on a season-long loan before returning to Karabukspor for the recent campaign.

He’s also had spells with Raja Casablanca (Morocco), Rosenborg (Norway) and Polish side Lechia Gdansk.

In France, fellow Stallions international Herve Kouakou Koffi completed a permanent switch to Lille from ASEC Mimosas on a five-year deal.

The 20-year-old will rival Nigerian veteran stalwart Vincent Enyeama at the French top tier outfit for the first team spot in goals.
