It didn’t work out for him at Crystal Palace last season, but Chelsea striker Loic Remy is reportedly on the verge of a fresh start with a move to Turkey.
The former Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers forward spent last season on loan at Selhurst Park, but failed to score in eight appearances in an injury-plagued campaign.
But now, he is reportedly closing in on a switch away from Stamford Bridge with reports in Turkey suggesting that Fenerbahce are in negotiations over a summer move.
Remy has been linked with a move to either Besiktas or French club Rennes, but Turkish publication Fotomac suggests that a club official from Fenerbahce has travelled to London to London to try and do a deal, with Chelsea understood to be open to a move for the 30-year-old.
But reports suggest that fellow Turkish side Besiktas remain in the hunt to sign Remy and have not yet given up hope of signing the Frenchman.
