What is the one thing in life that makes everything better? Dogs.
And by ‘everything’, we mean everything – including a performance of Mendelssohn’s ‘Italian’ Symphony No.4 in an ancient city.
Which is why when someones pet Labrador decided to stroll onto the stage in Ephesus in Turkey this week, nobody seemed to care.
During the performance by the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the dog casually strutted onto the stage and decided to chill in the strings section.
Initially, he looked like he had just woken up from a bad dream (you know the ones where you wake up naked in front of an audience).
But after a few seconds, he totally owned it.
Conductor Ola Rudner managed to continue the performance without fault (by fault we mean stopping everything to stroke the animal).
And he earned a few claps and laughs from the audience.
The clip, which recorded the dog heading into centre stage, finishes with the pet yawning.
Because, you know, crashing a live orchestra concert is tiring work. Right?
