Thanksgiving is only two weeks away. If you don’t want to step up to the oven to cook your own feast, there are plenty of Region restaurants serving up turkey and all the fixings.
The holiday will be celebrated this year on Nov. 23. Take a look at the following list to find a restaurant to celebrate Thanksgiving with your loved ones. This is merely a sample of what’s available.

Thanksgiving will be celebrated with a traditional turkey dinner and all the trimmings. The meal begins with a stuffed puff pastry appetizer and also includes pumpkin soup or a garden salad. Also featured will be fresh baked rolls, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberry, sweet potatoes,, green bean casserole and corn. Also available are prime rib or ham. Cost for the traditional turkey dinner is $20.95 for adults; $10.95 for children 10 and younger. Reservations are necessary.

Also available will be smothered pork chops, baked salmon Florentine, fried chicken, honey walnut shrimp, BBQ roast duck and more. Hours for the Thanksgiving meal will be noon to 9 p.m. Cost is $27.99 plus tax.

The Buffet at Four Winds Casino will feature carved turkey, ham and prime rib, sage dressing, candied yams, shrimp, crab legs, homemade desserts, chocolate fountain and other selections. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Cost is $46 per person; $22 for children between the ages of 4 and 12 and free for children younger than 3.
Gino’s Steakhouse, 1259 Joliet St., Dyer, and 600 E. Lincoln Highway, Merrillville. Call 219-865-3854 for Dyer and 219-769-4466 for Merrillville. Both locations will have a Thanksgiving feast. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The menu features starters such as tossed house salad with Italian vinaigrette, Caprese salad with fresh mozzarella and more. There also will be carving stations with honey roasted bone-in ham with brown sugar and orange sauce, roasted turkey breast with homemade stuffing and slow roasted prime rib with au jus and creamy horseradish. Other entrees include baby BBQ ribs with home-made BBQ sauce, chicken marsala, penne pasta, tilapia filet and more. Assorted desserts will be featured. Cost is $30 for adults and $14 for children 12 and younger.
