Tunisia’s 29-man preliminary squad for this summer’s World Cup has been named by manager Nabil Maaloul.

The Group G nation have two matches, against Porugal and Turkey, before having to name their whittled down selection for the finals tournament.

Wahbi Khazri, the Sunderland winger on loan at Rennes, is the standout name in Maaloul’s squad, as an injury to Youssef Msakni means Khazri is the only playing called up who has scored double figures for Tunisia.

The final list of 23 players has to be confirmed by all participating teams on June 4.
